Please review the following information as you prepare to implement the STARS project:
The Department will award you with a $100 end of semester stipend if you fully implement the STARS program this
semester. The requirements to receive the stipend are:
- You must have completed a STARS teacher training workshop;
- You must teach the STARS program this spring, including the stock portfolio analysis, as part of your classroom instruction;
- You must have your students track their stock portfolios for a period of 3 weeks;
- You must instruct a minimum of 3 students;
- You must have all students write a STARS report using this
- You must submit the
End of Project Completion form to the Department on or before the deadline set forth in your designated instruction timeframe.
If you have not previously received a payment from the Department, please complete the
New Vendor Form and return it to us as soon as possible. This will allow the Department to process your Teacher Participation Stipend at the end of the project.

Winning reports from each STARS region and a state winner will be selected by the Department. The regional report winners will receive a $250 stipend and the state winner will receive $1,000.
The spring awards ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2017. The ceremony will be at The Faculty House, 601 NE 14th St., in Oklahoma City.
