Invest Ed^® « STARS « Teacher Institute

General Information

Two 4-day Institutes are scheduled. Participants receive:

• Free Registration
• Free Lodging at the NCED Postal Training Center Marriott in Norman
• Free Meals
• Free Course materials
• Stipend
• 2.6 CEU Certificate and professional development points with your district’s approval

Dress is casual - it's summer! Please bring a jacket or wrap as the classroom may be cool at times.

Registration opens March 22, and seats go fast! If you are interested in attending, please complete the registration form and submit it as soon as possible. Online registration is available March 22 at www.investedok.org / Teacher Institute link. Seating is limited to 20 each Institute. Registrations will be accepted in the order received.

Teacher Institute Eligibility Requirements

ü must teach grades 9-12 in Oklahoma
ü must plan to continue teaching grades 9-12 in an Oklahoma secondary school or Technology Center
** Please do not register if you will not have a signed contract for the 10-11 school year.
ü must have no previous Invest Ed^® training—Saturday Workshop or Teacher Institute
ü must plan to teach investment/financial education if not already doing so

Stipulations

• No more than 2 teachers from each school will be given a seat at the institute during primary registrations. Any additional registrations will be placed on the waiting list.
• Once you have been given a seat, you will have one week to contact us and/or return the required W-9 form to confirm the seat. If we do not hear from you during that time, your name will be placed on the waiting list and the seat will be given away.
• Every Institute attendee must attend the entire institute in order to receive the full stipend. Our expectation is you will attend all four days. If you have to miss part of the Institute, please inform the Invest Ed^® staff ASAP.
• If your employment status changes at any time, please notify the Invest Ed^® staff immediately.
